The Rev. Cathlena Plummer

Rev. Cathlena was ordained into the Transitional Diaconate in June 2014 and ordained to the Priesthood in November 2015. She attended the Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, California, receiving her Master of Divinity Degree. Her title is Reverend Canon for Spiritual Formation. Cathlena will strive to maintain the spiritual and self-care of the Clergy within ECN as well as hold training and teachings on the Sacraments of the Episcopal Church to include the Spirituality of Navajo, Celtic, and Christian formation. She serves as Vicar of Good Shepherd Mission in Ft. Defiance, AZ. And her mission is to continue the legacy of her father, our former Bishop of Navajoland, the late Rt. Rev. Steven T. Plummer Sr. The vision was to safeguard the legacy of a Navajo-led laity and clergy with the teachings and spirituality of Navajo and Christianity combined. In her downtime, Rev. Cathlena is very much a music enthusiast and plays the Native American Flute as well as the traditional flute. She can often be found enjoying a Bollywood film starring famous Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan.
